Shmurah Matzah

Here is a life changing tidbit: It is written in the Kabbalah that Matzah is a Superfood. When you eat specifically the hand made Shmurah Matzah on the first night of Passover it gives us greater faith in G-d. When we eat it on the second night of Passover, it is a blessing for health.

In 2026, Passover begins on Wednesday night, April 1.

• First night to eat Shmurah Matzah: Wednesday, April 1, after nightfall (7:47 PM in Lake Zurich, IL)

• Second night: Thursday, April 2, after nightfall (7:47 PM)
